Today is Australia Day, anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet and a day for groups of people to gather around the barbeque and celebrate being Australian. It’s a pretty big deal over here, with over half the country expected to take part in some sort of community, family or group event.
In the spirit of all things ‘strayan, I thought I’d kick of a week on brainstorming. An activity where a group of people get together to share increasingly unrealistic ideas in the hope of striking gold. Here’s what you can expect to read in the coming days:
- Plain old fashioned brainstorms
- Rotating flipboards, World Cafe and other group based techniques
- Reverse Brainstorming
In the meantime, I’m off to chuck one on the barbie and crack open a cold one. Happy Australia Day
